PLA, SMS, and Email

Product listing is probably the easiest marketing for a product based business. Making sure your product appears at the top of google when someone searches for your product is one good form of advertising.

SMS & Email Marketing is a form of advertising where you pay for ad space in someone else's emails or you create a news letter and database of customers to entice users back to your website through copywriting.

These strategies for advertising are very low cost but they have very low click through rates.

SEM, CPC, and Affiliate Advertising

Search engine marketing is when you pay search engines to appear at the very top of the search results by bidding on certain keywords. This can be an effective strategy to get users to visit your website but can be costly depending on the keyword.

Cost per click ads are when you pay a certain price based on the number of people who click on your ad. This means you could have low cost if it doesn't perform well and high cost if it does perform well. A click on an advertisement is not a conversion though, which makes CPC risky. Platforms like Google, Amazon, YouTube, Facebook, and more are all CPC based systems.

Affiliate advertising is when you pay someone who has a lot of influence and already has a social following to recommend your product or service. This usually takes the form of sponsorships for paid ad reads on videos, or podcasts.
